Herndon Enrichment Program
The Herndon Enrichment Program is an evening academic program for third through seventh graders who need help solidifying their basic skills of reading, writing, spelling, and math. Professional teachers, assisted by volunteer teacher’s aides, lead small classes of students, providing help with homework and creative review of basic concepts in language arts and math. Program teachers work closely with students’ school teachers and with parents to create an individual learning plan tailored to each child’s needs. Students participate in the program from seven Herndon schools.
